Alison Goldfrapp continues her solo journey with new dance track Fever. The track sees the Ooh La La hitmaker follow-up her Claptone collaboration Digging Deeper – this time joining forces with DJ and producer Paul Woolford.
It is presumed that Digging Deeper and Fever‘s remixed forms are not the only ones to exist – with the original edits expected to help Goldfrapp’s debut solo album to take shape. Alison shares: “I love the simmering and explosive energy Paul has brought to my track ‘Fever’. I can’t wait to hear it out on a sweaty dance floor.”
The track sees Goldfrapp’s emotive vocals whisper against scintillating industrial-flecked electronic production as she purrs “We are the fever now / This is the real thing, this is the real thing…”
Alison is set to take the stage in a one-off performance at new London venue Here at Outernet on the 18th of May.
