Alison Goldfrapp Reveals Collaboration With Claptone, Dancefloor Gem ‘Digging Deeper’

Alison Goldfrapp delivers solo music in the form of Digging Deeper, a new cut produced in collaboration with DJ and producer Claptone. The first of several upcoming releases from the star who previously worked with Will Gregory as part of Goldfrapp, Digging Deeper is an infectious, nostalgic dancefloor treat.

Alison shared: “In Digging Deeper, I’m effortlessly gliding through air, on a gloriously hot breezy night arriving at a blissed-out dancefloor on the island of my dreams.” Claptone adds: “When Alison Goldfrapp asked me to collaborate, it was a no brainer for me. I’ve always been enchanted by the magic world she created and her stunning voice, so I was really happy that we could merge our trickery to create Digging Deeper.”  

Digging Deeper is written by Alison Goldfrapp, James Greenwood and Richard X – the trio also produce alongside Claptone. It sees Goldfrapp’s breathy intoxicating vocals blend against a bouncing club beat that marks a new electronic route from the musician’s work in Goldfrapp.
