The single If It Weren’t For You is a feel-good lovestruck pop treat penned by Christopher and Frederik Scharff, Mathias Neumann, Max Ulver and Victoria Sif Hansen. Lenno Linjama and Mathias produce the track which arrived on streaming services on Friday.
In lyrics that sing about overcoming tough times, Christopher sings “I would have gone crazy if it weren’t for you (Oh, oh-oh) / And I’ll still call you my baby when we make it through / We’re gonna make it through the darkness…” against stadium ready production.
This is a bold, uplifting track that continues to assert Christopher as one of Denmark’s best pop talents.
