Diana Ross Unveils ‘Thank You’ – First Original Album Since 1999, Hear Her New Single

Rumours of Diana Ross’s first original album since 1999’s Every Day is a New Day have been brewing for some time, but now the legendary pop diva official announces her new album – her twenty-fifth studio LP. Titled Thank You, the album is co-written by Ross and features an impressive array of collaborators including Jack Antonoff, Troy Miller, Triangle Park, and Spike Stent.

The singer notes: “This collection of songs is my gift to you with appreciation and love. I am eternally grateful that I had the opportunity to record this glorious music at this time,” adding that “Singing is my beautiful, delicious obsession.” The set is preceded by the gorgeous title track which is a joyous pop-number that sees the former Motown star pay tribute to all those that have supported her. It cleverly updates Diana’s signature sound for 2021 with slick, uplifting production and soulful vocals.

Recorded throughout the pandemic, Decca Records / Universal Music Group will release the full album on September 10th. Hear Thank You above and see the LP tracklist below.
