Charlie Jeer Continues ‘Take Away My Problems’ Journey With Cat Burns Collab ‘Small Talk’

Charlie Jeer continues the journey to his new EP Take Away My Problems with the Cat Burns collaboration Small Talk. The track follows the Simone Ashley collaboration So Good and EP lead single My Madonna.

The Kent-born star combines his saxophone-led pop with sultry disco vibes on Small Talk, with the optimistic track embracing the excitement of new beginnings. The collaboration is a result of Cat commenting on one of Charlie’s TikToks, with the pair linking up to record the track shortly after.

Charlie shares: The first song of my EP Take Away My Problems, Small Talk is a song that captures the hope of beginnings, an optimistic song about potential. Getting Cat Burns’ warm, raspy vocal to sing verse two effortlessly complements the song’s sonics and I’m really happy to have her be a part of this project.

Cat explains: Charlie’s super talented and so lovely! When he told me about this song and showed it to me, I immediately loved it. It’s so smooth, cool and just a very exciting piece of art to be a part of.

Charlie heads out on a sold-out tour in October, with dates across Europe. He takes on a number of Australian cities in November, with stops in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
