Charlie Jeer Channels Jazz Influenced Dancefloor Energy on ‘My Madonna’

Charlie Jeer, saxophonist and singer-songwriter, releases his new single My Madonna, marking the start of a new musical chapter for the Kent-based artist. The track dips into dance-pop flavours with orchestral and jazz notes, with some publications describing Charlie’s sound as jazz-house.

Charlie shares: “My Madonna is yours. The start of a new chapter of music, this song is about the push and pull of a toxic yet magnetic love. Making songs with meaning that feels true and lived-in is an important part of my music, and you can listen to this knowing that love, life and intention are behind every syllable.”

The track is a powerful pop anthem that shimmers with sultry, dancefloor energy while blending jazz textures in its production. Charlie’s vocals shine with a charismatic cool, sitting atop the grooving arrangement.

Reflecting on the response to the release, Charlie adds: “This is a project that has had time, energy and love poured into it from every angle. I’m so grateful for the amazing support and response I’ve received in the short time it’s been out, and I hope that you all will love listening to it as much as I’ve enjoyed the process of making it. Huge shoutout to my brother Ben Stancombe, who I spent weeks in the studio with working on this project.”

Charlie released the EP Everything is Temporary in 2025 and looks set to follow it up this summer.
