Famed for her work with Phil Spector, Darlene Love topped the charts throughout the sixties with tracks like He’s a Rebel and He’s Sure the Boy I Love – despite not getting due credit. After various solo outings, the singer releases her first studio collection since 1988 with ‘Introducing Darlene Love’.
The set is preceded by single Forbidden Nights (penned by Elvis Costello). The LP credits read like a who’s who of the music industry with Bruce Springsteen, Joan Jett, Desmond Child, Jimmy Webb and more making appearances.
