Delta Goodrem returns with her new track Paralyzed, a gorgeous mid-tempo anthem released through Sony Music Entertainment. The Australian pop star co-writes the new song with Marla Altschuler, and co-produces with Mark Rankin and Matthew Copley.
Dipping into some of her most personal, emotive lyrics to date as she sings: “Everyone is singing their love songs / But I can’t seem find my own tune
I’ve been on the inside for so long / If they knew the truth.” The track compares a time of mental and physical struggle to the feeling of paralysis. The track is a rousing anthem centred on overcoming hurdles, with Delta sounding flawless on the new anthem.
The track follows Keep Climbing which debuted in May. Both tracks are thought to make up part of Delta’s as yet unannounced sixth album. The singer’s last studio album to date was 2016’s Wings of the Wild which hit #1 in the Australian album charts. Hopefully Delta can replicate that success with this next musical chapter.
