Much-hyped pop newcome Magnus Ferrell debuts a confident electronic pop sound on his latest single Miss Me Vendetta, a track that marks his major label signing with VISVA and Republic Records. The track follows his million plus streamer Life or Death, released earlier this year.
On his new label home, Magnus shares: “Signing with VISVA and Republic Records is a dream come true. Savan is not only a producer and mentor; he is like a big brother to me in the studio and in life. Having his trust and confidence is a huge honor. I can’t wait to share the music we create with the world !”
Miss Me Vendetta is written by Magnus, Ant Clemons, Gabe Yaron, and Maurice “Verse” Simmonds. Gabe Yaron (a regular collaborator and University buddy of Magnus’) and Kyle Shearer produce the number which shines with a retro nostalgia, emotive vocals, and a moody hypnotic tone. Lyrically, Magnus navigates the aftermath of a toxic relationship, posing the question: “Baby, does it make you feel better?”
The Los Angeles native is currently crafting his debut EP for Republic Records. Expect that at some point this year.
