We’re always excited to have new music from Blake Proehl, the former NFL star that went on to find success with his music and appearance on American Idol. His latest single is the romantic country-pop anthem Miss Carolina which sees him capture a sense of nostalgia about a romance in the South-eastern state.
Blake shared that he has been hard at work on lots of new music since moving to Nashville, with the track being one of the first he worked on since arriving in Tennessee. He notes: “Miss Carolina IS OUT EVERYWHERE!! It’s been over a year since releasing music and you guys have stuck with me through it all. There’s not a day I don’t wake up and thank God for the support that you guys give me. I wrote this song with some of my favorite writers and ironically it was the very first session I had after moving to Nashville. This one is just the start of everything I’ve been working on behind the scenes, so buckle up.”
Blake has found success with a number of anthemic tracks such as Crazy Stupid Love and Falling Into You which have spanned various genres. One that is always consistent is Blake’s great charismatic vocals and engaging songwriting skills. Miss Carolina is written by Austin Gee, Blake Proehl, Nicholas Sainato, Spencer Jordan, with production from Sainato also.
