Hailing from Eastern Ukraine but now based in London, independent artist ARNY delivers a dance-pop treat with his new single Go Down.
ARNY shares: “For years I wrote songs that never fully sounded like me. I was telling stories that felt safer to tell. Go Down is different. It’s the first time I’ve written a song where I wasn’t trying to hide who I was or who I was singing about. I hope people connect with the feeling first, and let the story speak for itself.”
ARNY was raised in a coal-mining town in Eastern Ukraine, an environment full of machismo where vulnerability was viewed as weakness. Drawn to London to pursue a career in music, ARNY creates emotive dance-pop with rich vocals, intoxicating electronic pop production, and lyrics that will resonate with listeners across the globe.
Whilst Go Down immediately lands as a confident, feel-good anthem about romantic desire, the track also explores ARNY’s defiant decision to stop hiding and fully embrace who he is as a person.
