Following on from their first proper debut single Ariana, released after their welcome Made in Korea EP, UK K-Pop act dearALICE return with new single Sweet.
The track draws from 00s inspired Timbaland productions, with the dearALICE boys delivery silky Timberlake inspired vocals as they croon “You’re so sweet, baby / I just wanna taste it / Come get a piece, baby, let’s give in to temptation.”
SM Entertainment describe “Sweet as a sleek, up-tempo pop song inspired by early 2000s pop icons such as The Neptunes and Justin Timberlake.” The number is written by a team including singer-songwriter and producer Jesse Saint John and producer Pink Slip. Sweet is produced by Nami and Mike Spencer.
Previous single Ariana hit No.2 in the UK physical sales chart, whilst also gaining the boys a place on BBC Radio 1’s Future Pop segment. They’ve been perfecting their live craft as part of SM Town Live with performances in Seoul, Mexico City and Los Angeles. They’ll hit the London stage on June 28.
