The Womack Sisters Continue Their Family’s Musical Legacy With Self-Titled Debut Album

LA-based soul and R&B trio The Womack Sisters (BG, Zeimani and Kucha) are carrying on their family’s legendary musical legacy with their brand new self-titled album.

Granddaughters of the great Sam Cooke, daughters of the great Cecil Womack and Linda Womack, and nieces of the great Bobby Womack, the trio have music running through their veins. One simply needs to hit play on the first track of their freshly released album to get a taste of the musical prestige from which The Womack Sisters descend.

Presenting classic R&B flavours across new original music, singles If I Let You, If You Want Me and Chauffeur offer a taste of the rich, classic sounds produced by the vocalists.

The release notes share: “The Sisters grew up on the road. Their schools were stages and studios all over the world, where they sang behind their parents, Zekkariyas & Zeriiya (fka Womack & Womack), alongside their four siblings. Nowhere was home for long. No matter where they lived – London, Thailand, Amsterdam, Kenya, Paris, Sydney, Zurich, Vienna, Tanzania, New York, Miami, West Virginia, the Bahamas – they were always surrounded by music and family.”

It continues: “Their 2026 self-titled debut album, The Womack Sisters, is the musical culmination of the Sisters’ long and winding journey to find themselves. Over an intensely soulful collection of tunes that harkens back to when pop music had substance, vibe and purpose, each of their distinct voices have their moments in the spotlight.”
