We always knew it was the case but Maja Ivarsson confirms her status in new single ICONIC. The track follows The Sounds’ frontwoman’s debut solo EP which contained four tracks including her Melodifestivalen anthem Kamikaze Life and other modern pop-rock classics such as Biggest Fan and I Want More.
The musician shares: “Finally I can share my latest single ICONIC with you! ICONIC is all about confidence. Seeing the beauty in our flaws, that real beauty lies in the imperfection. To be able to celebrate what is one, despite errors and shortcomings. I co-wrote the song with Andreas Lindbergh, Joy Deb and Linnea Deb.” The track sees Maja collaborate with the team behind Kamikaze Life, with production from Andreas Lindbergh and Joy Deb.
The star channels classic Warhol inspired pop art with the attached imagery, whilst the track captures the punky rebellious and joyful rock that Maja does so well.
