The Netherlands’ Eurovision Sensation Claude Returns With Hopeful Romantic Pop Anthem ‘Amour’

Congolese-Dutch pop sensation Claude returns with a brand new single, Amour, released via Cloud 9 Records. The track marks another exciting chapter in the young star’s rapidly-rising career following on from his Eurovision hit C’est La Vie.

Claude co-writes with Arno Krabman and Joren van der Voort, with production from the pair, crafting an up-tempo and energetic sound, complete with a catchy chorus. Just like with his previous hits, Claude switches between two languages, this time between Dutch and French.

The title gives a clear signal of what’s at the heart of the track: love. Claude notes “be kind to yourself and the people around you.” According to Dutch star, there is already enough misery in the world, noting: “With Amour, I want to show that music can connect and that there is always room for hope and love.”

With his trademark emotive melodies and knack for infectious hooks, the single feels poised to join the ranks of his biggest hits. Since hitting the charts with Ladada (Mon Dernier Mot) and following it up with the anthemic Eurovision favourite C’est La Vie, Claude has carved out a space as one of the Netherlands’ most exciting voices in pop.
