We were certainly fed last year with new music from Kate Pierson of the The B-52s with the iconic redhead dropping her album Radios and Rainbows. Now it’s the turn of her bandmate Cindy Wilson, who announces new EP Second Sight and reveals its lead single Man of the People.
Man of the People is a punchy pop number that draws on Cindy’s defiantly punky vocals and political lyrics. Cindy co-writes with Suny Daniel Lyons, who also produces the attitude-packed pop number. The track will be joined by additional numbers on the Autumn scheduled EP – these include Phantasm and title track Second Sight.
As well as shining as one of the beloved members of The B-52s, Cindy has built up an impressive solo career with her dreamy electronic pop albums Realms and Change, which have continued to showcase her as an icon in the world of dance music and the new wave.
