RISING TALENT

SYRLUD Releases Debut Album ‘Heaven in the Rearview’

SYRLUD

Canadian rising artist SYRLUD (‘Ludovic Cyr’) delights with his debut album Heaven in the Rearview, a pop set that draws on classic flavours yet feels like a fresh and distinctive debut. The suave SYRLUD started the campaign with his debut single Why?, and has since gone on to release tracks from the project, building up to its final release.

The good news is that if you’re seeing this now, SYRLUD’s full album is out. From the rock-tinged cool of the title track to the powerhouse dancefloor flavours of Why?, Heaven in the Rearview presents the Canadian star as a fully formed artist, with a gravelly cool to his vocals and the relatable pull of his lyrics. SYRLUD is an artist with an undeniable musical presence.

The musician shares: “I’ve been making music since I was 12 years old, but sharing it with the world has always been a different kind of challenge. I produced this album over the past two years entirely from my bedroom, using nothing more than a MIDI keyboard, a microphone, Soundtrap/FruityLoops Studio and my own ideas. Every song I wrote has a story and a meaning behind it.”

He continues: “Every part of this project represents a piece of my journey as an artist, and putting it out into the world is a huge milestone for me. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to listen and share. This is just the beginning.”

We’re delighted to share Heaven in the Rearview, which delivers eighteen tracks of distinctive contemporary pop oozing with classic pop, rock and soul influences, spearheaded by the swaggering cool of Ludovic.
