Angelo Perrelli makes his first foray into the music industry with his debut single Wasn’t Expecting That. The number is Angelo’s spin-on British singer-songwriter Jamie Lawson’s original track, yet the rising talent lends his own distinctive musical spin to the song.
Working with producer Mattias Bylund, the number comes with luscious instrumental accompaniment that turns into a breezy summer piece with elegant jazz undertones. Angelo is impressive, delivering sensitive and charming vocals which help capture its feelings of the fleeting nature of love.
Swedish star Angelo will hopefully be giving us further musical delights as the year progresses, following in the footsteps of his mother Charlotte Perrelli – who also releases her debut Spanish-language single La Bondad de Dios this weekend.
