Sugababes have announced their first album by the original trio since their debut record One Touch in 2000. The self-titled album arrives on 12 February 2027, is preceded by new track Ghost, and will also contain previous single Shook.
The band share: We’ve poured so much into this record and the more it came together, the clearer it became that there was only one thing we could call it: SUGABABES. It feels unmistakably us. We’ve loved writing and recording it, and we’re so excited that it’s finally time for you all to hear it!
Ghost is written by Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan alongside Wayne Hector and Jon Shave, with the latter also producing the slinky pop number. The song is about relationships and the feeling of being unable to escape a toxic environment.
Since reuniting, the original trio have released a 20th anniversary edition of One Touch in 2021. They also dropped a record in 2022 titled The Lost Tapes, which featured unreleased Sugababes material.
