US singer-songwriter and modern day crooner Stephen Sanchez unveils a new side-project with French musician Devi, which they call Dress & Tie. The three track self-titled EP features new tracks Me Without You, What Did I Do?, and Always Been You.
On the EP, Stephen shares: “Dress & Tie was born out of love for one another and a shared pursuit of real love songs in a world full of failed attempts. These songs were written from a place of passion over pressure, telling our story alone. We both wholeheartedly hope you find yourselves endlessly inspired by the magic of these songs in a world that has seemingly forgotten that love is still simply this: attainable, beautiful, wonderful magic.”
On Instagram, the musician adds: “I wrote these songs for my love and worked on them with dear friends. It’s the purest music I’ve had the privilege of making. Oh, and did I mention that we did it all in 4 days? Yeah. We did that. Enjoy, lovers!”
The EP features stripped-back multi-instrumental production from Stephen and Konrad Snyder, showcasing the vocal chemistry of both of the vocalists.
Stephen’s debut album Angel Face was released back in 2023, earning the nostalgic hitmaker legions of fans. Expectations are high for the new solo music that Stephen is scheduled to release in 2026. In the meantime, enjoy the stripped back romantic vibe of Dress & Tie above.
