Spanish Superstar Melody Follows Up Eurovision Success with Dancepop Hit ‘Alarma’

Spanish pop superstar Melody returns with her new single Alarma, a powerhouse dance-pop number that showcases the Eurovision star’s impressive vocal range. The singer accompanied the release with a teaser for fans: “The beginning of a new chapter. And this… is just the beginning,” potentially signalling the start of a full album campaign.

The track sees Melody co-write with Antonio Sánchez Ohlsson, featuring high-energy production from Pablo Rouss. This marks her second major release since her Benidorm Fest-winning classic Esa Diva, following the well-received pop gem El Apagón.

Esa Diva proved to be a massive hit across Europe, charting in Spain, Finland, Lithuania, Switzerland, and Sweden, as well as reaching the download charts in the UK. There is little doubt that fans of her previous hits will be just as delighted with Alarma, which hopefully heralds a wave of new music from Melody in 2026.
