Netflix’s Building the Band sparked a surprising number of successful musical acts, one of which is Soulidified, made up of Shade Jenifer, Malik Heard, Bradley Rittmann and Landon Boyce. The foursome were united by a vision to create a timeless pop sound, something they have achieved with their latest soulful pop anthem What’s Your Name.

Produced by KDA and written by the band alongside Terence De Carlo Coles, Jayrah Gibson, Yacoub Elias and Michael Warren, the sound of the track draws on classic pop and R&B melodies, delivering feel-good vibes as the band croon, ‘Tell me, what’s your name / Tell me if you want to (Your name) / Tryna get to know you (Your name) / Baby, if you want to,’ atop the smooth, up-tempo production.

The band previously released the tracks Sure Thing and Can We Talk via Building the Band, and have since gone on to drop the festive track Mistletoe and standalone single One & Only.
