Simon Opp and STRIPPERS Release Debut EP, New Solo Single ‘Save My Soul’

Czech singer-songwriter Simon Opp drops two new projects, the solo single Save My Soul and the new EP STRIPPERS, as part of his musical project of the same name. The star, hailing from Brandýs nad Labem near Prague, has built up an impressive discography with the EP Dance With Somebody and collaborations with fellow Czech artists such as Tom Sean.

Simon’s latest solo single Save My Soul was co-written by the artist alongside Igor Ochepovsky and Will Church, with production also handled by Ochepovsky. The track blends contemporary country and Americana influences with slick pop stylings, while Simon’s confident vocal helps it stand out as one of his strongest releases to date.

Simon has also collaborated with bass player Chuy Saldaña, guitarist Richard Svoboda, and drummer Rocco on his alternative project STRIPPERS, which has now debuted with its first EP. The release includes singles such as Dirty Blonde and Sorry Baby, alongside tracks Playboy, Divokej Kůň, and Toxic AF.

On Toxic AF, Simon shared: “TOXIC AF is out. A song we wrote in one day at @songwritingczcamp. My first single in Czech, haha I remember that a year ago I would have told everyone to fuck off, that I didn’t like my voice and songs in Czech in general :))) Oh well, that’s up to you.”

Keep up with Simon here and STRIPPERS here.
