Sanna Nielsen Celebrates 30 Years of Music With Brand New Track ‘What Love Is’

Sanna Nielsen continues to celebrate thirty years in the music business with another brand new track, What Love Is. The feel-good Europop anthem follows Sanna’s recent cover of Heaven Is a Place on Earth and her Melodifestivalen smash Waste Your Love.

Written and produced by Jimmy Jansson and Thomas G:son, What Love Is is a gem that delivers exactly what we want from Sanna. Slinky electronic pop production and massive vocals from Sanna help the track shine as the cherry on top of a very productive musical year for the Swedish pop great.

Sanna shares: “I’m so proud of this song, which represents all the happiness and love I have in my life. Life isn’t always a bed of roses, but one thing is certain. RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF LIFE, I am at my happiest, bravest, most curious, in love and grateful, and that is “What Love Is” to me. Now the song is yours.”

Sanna, of course, made a very welcome return to Melodifestivalen this year with Waste Your Love, another collaboration with Thomas G:son and Jimmy Jansson, alongside Peter Boström. The track saw Sanna make the final alongside the likes of A*Teens and Robin Bengtsson. She, of course, won the competition in 2014 with Undo.
