Rising Talent VNCE Makes a Triumphant Return With New EP ‘BANG!’

Those of you with fantastic memories may remember us featuring rising music talent VNCE and his album Queer six years ago. We’re delighted to share that VNCE is back with a brand new EP, BANG!. The project reunites us with the musician’s infectious pop production, strong vocals and emotionally honest songwriting.

‘BANG! is about reclaiming my voice,’ says VNCE. ‘What started as a way to process one traumatic event became an opportunity to confront so much more. I hope these songs remind people that healing isn’t linear, and that they’re never alone.’

VNCE originally devised the project as a means of managing PTSD following the devastating Los Angeles wildfires of 2025. As writing progressed, he uncovered unresolved trauma from earlier experiences, using the EP as a platform to address topics including sexual assault, abuse, mental health, anxiety, body positivity and self-love.

BANG! was written and recorded in Los Angeles, revealing a new creative direction through collaborations with producers Daniel Bayot and Manta. Fusing pop and R&B with early 2000s influences, BANG! is both a bold and impressive return for VNCE.

From the sultry title track to the vulnerable pop gem Extremes, alongside the equally captivating Body Tea and Save For Later, VNCE impresses throughout. The vulnerable Get Through This provides a powerful conclusion to the five-track collection.
