Rising Talent Benjamin Steer Releases New Single ‘Be My Love’ Ahead of UK/Europe Tour

Benjamin Steer delighted with his early 2026 anthem Trophy, with the rising talent also announcing news of a UK tour with the track at the start of the year. Benjamin now follows this with new song Be My Love, which he collaborates on with co-writers Ryan Linvill and Sam Roman.

The University of St Andrews-graduate turned singer-songwriter works with producers Dan McDougall and Ryan Linvill on the number. Benjamin shared: “I called a friend last week and he said “why are you always writing songs about love and heartbreak…wouldn’t it be cooler to not always sing about how affected u are by the pursuit of love.” First i was like fair point… but then it sort of got me thinking…”

He continues: “Ok, maybe I’m Overreliant on the idea of love but I think what I do know, apart from never learning for my mistakes, is that we live in a world where sometimes in order to protect your self from the potential of loss or vulnerability we hide in nonchalance and not giving your self up. For sure, caring about someone is a vulnerability, but also I think love will only give back what you give in. It’s a risky business… I wanted to write a song that described the feeling of putting it on the line in the hope of something great… it’s the “you make me a better person and I want you in my life, the good and the bad, so here I am without my armor.” So I’d say be bold and if u fall in your face just get up and don’t change. Alr enough with the preach.”

Benjamin also announced that he will be hitting the road in 2026 on the The Not-So-Nonchalant Tour. He shares: “Ya boy tried to be cool and mysterious and nonchalant but alas this didn’t quite work out to plan… so it’s time for the not nonchalant era baby (aka chalantness)… I hope to see you dancing and letting loose to the sweet sweet sounds of the trials and tribulations of young love and the pursuit of happiness to fill the gaping hole in my heart etc…”

On what fans can expect, he amusingly shared: “There will be sexiness, sorrow, subtle suaveness, and supreme yearning with a sprinkle of razzle dazzle.” Grab tickets here and view the dates on the poster below.
