Rising Star ZT Delivers Another Anthem With R&B-Pop Gem ‘When You’re Sober’

We wanted to take a moment to shout out English-American rising musical talent ZT, who is currently keeping us hooked with banger after banger. The latest track from the musician is When You’re Sober, a collaboration between ZT and Riley Urick.

ZT (Zach Thornton) has caught our eye, or rather our ears, thanks to songs that tap into genuine emotions, combining slick modern R&B and pop production with vocals oozing charisma. When You’re Sober marks another successful collaboration between ZT and Riley, following anthems such as Tears Won’t Work and Sweet and Toxic Love.

Reflecting on his year in music, ZT shared on social media: “1 year ago today I released my first ever single… I had never seriously stepped foot into a studio to write and record before this, and going into my first session, I had no idea what I was getting into.”

He continued: “Fast forward one year, and it has been the most insane time of my life. I have got to travel to places that I never thought I would. Worked with quite literally some of the best the industry has to offer and have been able to reach people all across the world, connecting with hundreds of thousands of you guys spreading across 6 continents (Antarctica soon come…).”

Fans will not have too long to wait for a full album from ZT. The star revealed: “There is so much more to look forward to, with live shows in the works (more to come on that) and plans for a first studio album…”

ZT will also take to the stage for his headline show at The Grace in London on 13 September. Tickets are available here.
