Another breakout star from Star Academy is Théo P, who has released his debut single Garçon solide. The French artist found early success as a seasoned athlete and physiotherapist before moving into music, with Garçon solide teasing an undeniably promising pop career.
Théo previewed the track in Instagram videos, noting: “Often it starts with an emotion. There’s something I feel that I can’t really express any other way. So I go to the piano.” Theo co-wrote the track with Léandre Villechaise and Sébastien Rousselet. The production blends piano-driven pop with catchy electronic melodies, creating a summery feel.
Théo Paquet is another of the many stars to emerge from the popular music series Star Academy, with fellow contestant Theo L launching as aZur and releasing his single Vertige last week. French pop music is in strong hands.
