Canadian pop talent Rêve delivered one of the best debut albums we’ve heard in a long time with the stellar Saturn Return in 2023. Now, the musician powers on in the journey towards her second studio album with new single Devour.
Devour was written by Rêve, Kate Morgan and Michael Fatkin, with production from Michael and Felix Cartal. The track is a euphoric dance-pop delight that sees the Canadian hitmaker sing: “All eyes feast on the power / I came to eat, now watch me devour / Clock in, paid by the hour / I came to eat, now watch me devour…” The lyrics tell the bold, empowering stories that Rêve does so well.
Rêve’s second album is titled Delusions of Grandeur and is expected in 2026. The star teased the project on social media: “Feeling very emo and grateful to be able to do this again, after such a long time away. There were a lot of moments in the past 18 months where I was so lost without all of this… My ability to create and alchemise all of the crazy experiences we go through in this life, and to be able to share and connect with my community through the art. It is the greatest honour and privilege of my life… Here is the first of many from my sophomore album, Delusions of Grandeur.”
