Brazilian artist Renan Pitanga continues to put his unique and distinctive original spin on classic contemporary pop tunes, with his latest release, Unholy. Putting his Dark Pop flavour on the Sam Smith and Kim Petras hit, Renan showcases his distinctive vocals, undeniable charisma, and inventive musical creativity.
Renan has taken on a number of classic tracks over the years, with distinctive covers of the likes of S&M, Buttons, Don’t Cha, and SexyBack, all standing shoulder to shoulder with the original versions. Renan delivers a seductive pop vocal on the track, enhancing it as a sultry pop banger.
As well as his impressive covers of English-language tracks, Renan also creates his own original Portuguese-language music, which showcases his skill as a songwriter and vocalist. Hopefully, we’ll get to hear some of Renan’s original music in English soon.
