Remember Monday Continue Debut Album Journey With New Single ‘Attention’

Remember Monday continue their journey towards their debut album with new single Attention. The track sees Charlotte, Holly and Lauren sing about a group of girls craving attention in the midst of a night out.

The band share: “We all met at 17, and the second we were old enough to go clubbing, we committed ourselves to lying to as many people as possible. Full alter egos, accents, backstories, the works. Holly was ‘Kelsie’, a Nashville millionaire whose dad invented the yo-yo. Charlotte was ‘Charlene’ from Liverpool, who used to date Andrew Garfield. And Lauren was ‘Lucie’, an Australian shark attack survivor who fought the shark and won.

They continue: “Sometimes our elaborate stories would get us a free drink, sometimes free entry, but most often, and most importantly, they’d simply get us a whole lot of Attention. This song is essentially a warning: if you meet us on a night out, don’t believe a single word we say!”

Attention was written by Paul Whalley, Lauren Byrne and Holly-Anne Hull, with production from Paul Whalley, ST£FAN and Steven Battelle. The track follows previous singles Delusional, More Than Ever, Happier and their UK Eurovision entry What the Hell Just Happened?
