Rising Scottish singer-songwriter Rain Corner releases his fourth single, If We Make Love, a slow-burning pop number that blends electronic pop with R&B grooves, capturing the vulnerability of falling into a romance.
Rain shares: “This one is heavily influenced by my old band La Mantra, as I wrote it with one of the other members, Ged. I’m super excited to finally give you this one and hear your thoughts.”
Rain (Ryan Connor) works on the track with composer-arranger Gerard Howarth, who also produces the track. Rain’s vocals shine on the number, packed with frustrated yet cautious emotion as he questions whether making love will change anything in the relationship.
Rain has already garnered support from BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Introducing. Rain has showcased impressive versatility, which has been picked up by fans and tastemakers, with previous tracks Tokyo, Dead End and Like That showcasing various strings to the star’s bow.
