Propaganda’s Claudia Brücken Drops Optimistic New Single ‘My Life Started Today’ Ahead of ‘Night Mirror’ Album

Propaganda and more recently xPropaganda star Claudia Brücken announces news of her new studio album Night Mirror, which arrives July 4th. The album was preceded by new single Rosebud on which Claudia co-writes with John Williams – who also produces the track and full album. Claudia has since released tracks Sound and The Fury, and most recently My Life Started Today.

My Life Started Today showcases Claudia’s steely German-accented vocals against sumptuous violin instrumentation, with an upbeat tone building into the track. The star croons “My life started today / What happened before, doesn’t matter / It’s of little consequence / The ball the chain, all the idle chatter” singing of fresh starts for a more positive outcome. The star also radiates in the music video for the single, which has been released via Demon Music.

The album is described as an optimistic one with ten tracks written and recorded in London between 2023-2025. It is said to delve into themes of reflection and rebirth. A press release shares: “On ‘Night Mirror’ Claudia is reunited with musical partner John Williams, whose work as a producer, writer, engineer, and record label head has seen him work with such luminaries as The Housemartins, Alison Moyet, Blancmange, Simple Minds and The Proclaimers. Contributing to the album are an accomplished series of musicians, whose credits include The Lighthouse Family, Cathy Dennis, Orlando Weeks (The Maccabees), and Kaiser Chiefs.”
