Armenia’s PARG makes a welcome return to the world of English-language pop with his new single, Feel Alive. The track follows PARG’s Armenian-language hits SARN ES and SERY MER, with this release striking a personal tone as a tribute to his wife.
PARG shares: “This song is for my wife. She’s my person, my safe harbour, and the one who always knows how to bring me back to myself. This is her as a little girl. Before she even knew she’d one day mean everything to me.”
The musician chose an image of his wife in her early years for the single’s cover. PARG notes: “I chose this photo because Feel Alive isn’t just a love song. It’s about the kind of love that’s pure, untouched, fearless, the kind we all had as children before the world got heavy. The kind that makes you run barefoot, laugh at nothing, and believe everything is going to be okay.”
PARG worked with Joshua Curran, who co-wrote the track. PARG also produced the song. It is a high-energy pop number, with rock elements incorporated through electric guitar from Grigoriy Derbentsev.
We’re delighted to have more new music from PARG, especially as he returns to English-language music following his Eurovision Song Contest smash, SURVIVOR.
