Omar Rudberg continues the journey towards his next studio album with new track Careless. The number follows Omar’s deeply personal lead single from the album A World Like This and his collaboration with Felix Jaehn, Siren. Elias Edman produces the single which is co-written by Omar, Elias, Linnea Sodahl and Noak Hellsing.
Careless sees Omar sing “I’m careless as I roll my eyes / Go and keep that stress, Imma keep my mind / Couldn’t care less ’bout a 9-to-5 / I don’t care if they care that I don’t care…” atop energetic production. This is glossy electronic R&B-flavoured pop at its finest and Omar delivers one of his most attitude-packed vocals in this fun crowd-pleasing track.
The Venezuelan-Swedish singer-songwriter shares with fans: “Wrote this one over two years ago or so with my friends/songwriters and we’re so excited it’s finally coming out! This one’s for the fans that been waiting for so long!!!!!”
