Multi-faceted Norwegian star Joakim Kleven has conquered the world of directing, photography and television, and now has his sights set on the world of music. Joakim has signed with Universal Music and releases his new single FREAK with the label.
Joakim is no stranger to the world of music with previous singles Scream It Out and Generation 2.0 being released as an independent artist. However, the slick and danceable Freak marks his first single with a major label. Joakim shares: “Finally able to share the news!! Just writing this right now is making me cry, this has been a HUGE dream that I’ve been working towards for a long time and the day is finally here!! On FREAK, Joakim delivers a defiant slice of pop, confident and assured of his identity on a number that celebrates what makes us different. The video, also directed by Joakim, is a high-energy, sexy affair that truly helps the song further pop. FREAK is produced by Ronny Graff Janssen, and written by Janssen with Kim Wigaard and Joakim.
Hopefully there is a lot more new music to come from Joakim as FREAK is certainly a banger.
