Eurodance star Bambee experienced a well-deserved resurgence when her 1999 anthem Bumble Bee found a new global audience thanks to the power of social media. The Norwegian star has used this momentum to return to the studio, delivering her first new music in nearly 25 years with new single Bambeeland.
Bambeeland delivers all the late-nineties bubblegum pop we could want from a new Bambee track. Vocal production from Mike Hartung captures the sugary joy of the era, while Jens Ringdal’s production and songwriting fully transport us back to that classic eurodance sound. Bambee (Desirée Hagman) herself sounds flawless, delivering a vocal that feels straight out of 1999 in the best possible way.
Bambee released two albums, On Ice in 1999 and Fairytales in 2002. Her track Bumble Bee has since gone on to accumulate over 80 million streams on Spotify.
We are delighted to have new Bambee music, not to mention the incredible visual accompaniment from Pål Laukli.
