Nico Santos delivers an uplifting mid-tempo track to guide us into the breezy spring months with his new single Optimist. The release follows The Voice coach’s collaboration with Anne Moster, Letting Go, with Nico once again showcasing his slick pop credentials.
Optimist is produced by Flo August, who co-wrote the track alongside Nico, Pascal Reinhardt, Chris James and René Miller. The lyrics tap into a longing for positivity and light, with one verse seeing Nico sing: “Still believe in open windows / Each day’s a brand-new start / Sometimes the truth is simple / Good things don’t always fall apart / And dreaming big, it ain’t that hard…”
