Natasha Bedingfield delivers her brand new single Dot Dot Dot, marking her first original music in three years. Natasha co-writes and produces the track with Andy D. Park and Brett Hite, with the song shining as an energetic, synth-driven alt-pop treat.
Natasha shares: “That song felt like a true story for both of us of what life in the music industry is like. To be at an athlete friend’s house felt like parallels to being in the ring and being punched down and asking yourself, ‘Why should I keep doing this?’ Then you just get back up and stay because human beings need art. We make art out of the hard stuff we go through. We alchemise it.”
The audience response to the track has been equally positive, with the star sharing: “I’ve played this song at some festivals and shows this summer and I’ve never in my life experienced such a great crowd response to a new song. I love you all and thanks for the encouragement to keep putting music out. This feels more cathartic than I expected.”
We are loving this sound from Natasha and have our fingers crossed that a new album will not be too far away.
