Mylène Farmer makes a welcome return with C’est à qui le tour, lifted from her upcoming studio album expected this autumn. The track, which translates as Whose Turn Is It?, sees the Francophone pop legend collaborate with DJ Lewis on the project.
In translated lyrics, Mylène sings “Here, the sex is dead, the sex is wrong / Sexy sleeps / It’s all to drive you crazy / Why say nothing else, write nothing else? / Scared of everything / So, where do we put ourselves?” in the opening verse. With melancholic electronic dance-pop production, the song is another commanding composition from Mylène and points towards a moody, introspective yet still danceable direction for her upcoming LP.
Mylène works with DJ Lewis, Philip Böllhoff, Ana Zimmer, and Ragio on the track.
