Viral pop sensation that may or may not be New Zealand actor and musician KJ Apa, Mr Fantasy announces his debut album. The album Fantasyland arrives on June 26th containing previous singles Mr. Fantasy, Wayuwanna, Catapult, One Last Night, and the newly released Do Me Right.
The full eleven song tracklist is still to be confirmed, but its safe to say fans can expect the bombastic pop and humorous cool that Mr Fantasy has delivered on his recent tracks. Freshly dropped single Do Me Right starts with the slinky camp line of “Oh, I said move a little bit / Take a little swim, sex on the beach / I want to eat a peach…” capturing the playful silliness that has made Mr Fantasy such an online sensation. Mr Fantasy writes the track with production from Florian Gouello.
Mr Fantasy has roped in a number of high profile names to promote the single including Nick Jonas and Dave Franco, with anticipation high for the album. Fantasyland will be released on vinyl, CD and streaming services. Order the album here.
