Miranda Lambert reveals her new studio album Crisco, with news of the project arriving with brand new single Till the Going’s Gone. The full collection arrives on October 2nd.
Miranda shares: “I’ve always loved every corner of country music. The heartbreak songs, the honky-tonk songs, the songs that make you think and the songs that make you dance. Making this record reminded me that those things don’t have to be separated. We followed the songs wherever they wanted to go, trusted our instincts and ended up with something that feels really fun and really honest to who I am.”
Till the Going’s Gone gives us a more traditional return to Miranda’s sound – deviating from the country disco that the star unveiled on the album’s title track Crisco. Hopes are high that Miranda will navigate back into the country disco sphere, with the title number providing something a little different from the country legend.
The album was written with a group of collaborators that includes Natalie Hemby, Ashley Monroe, Waylon Payne, Aaron Raitiere, and Josh Osborne.
