Mikolas Josef returns with new track Hard to Be Humble, a collaboration with producer Tribbs. The track feels perfectly timed for a summer of sport, with lyrics about perseverance and teamwork, fitting perfectly with the mantra of the Czech FIFA World Cup squad.
“When the lights shine bright / It’s time, I’m bringing that heat / Never back down, if I back down / Stand on defeat ’til I’m back on my feet…” Mikolas sings in the chorus of the powerhouse uptempo track. Beginning with a spoken-word intro, the song soon launches into a fiery rap from the Czech star, backed by a stadium-filling chorus and driving percussion.
The track is accompanied by a video of Mikolas in the studio, as well as a powerful sporting montage featuring Czech sporting stars. Cristiano Cesario, Mikoláš Josef Čapoun, Mikolaj Maciej Trybulec, Myles Gooden and Jacob Stevan James co-wrote the track, with production from Mikolas, Cristiano and Tribbs.
