Meg Stalter Serves Slinky Hyperpop On New Single 'Little Black Dress'

We are obsessed with everything that Meg Stalter does, and the latest cut from her upcoming album Crave is no exception. Little Black Dress sees the multi-hyphenate co-write with her producers Matias Mora and Jesse Thomas, resulting in a slinky hyperpop treat.

The star, who is currently leading Oh, Mary! on Broadway and has built a legion of fans through her stand-up and roles on TV shows such as Hacks, is now showcasing her finesse and star quality in the pop world. Her debut album is expected this summer, with tracks Prettiest Girl in America, GAY, BRR and I Need You showcasing Meg’s skill in the world of dance-pop, as well as her talents in acting and comedy.

The star took to Instagram to share her thoughts about her music: “Thinking about how hard it is at times to share my music with the humans of the world because at times, I want to keep it to myself. I finally get to tell my story on my own terms and yet, shall I? Not sure if people deserve to know the real me, or do they? So many questions racing through my brain and yet, I choose to keep giving parts of myself over for the greater good of life art and music.”

Meg continues: “Soon we will be announcing our release date and it keeps me up at night wondering if I should cancel the whole damn thing. But wouldn’t that be a damn shame, not being able to ever see the girl I really am. I promise I won’t do that to you no matter how much I want to keep it all to myself, I will give you this album. My fans, or more so, my friends. CRAVE coming soon, cheers! PS I think you’re going to like the real me.”
