Mark Ambor Shares Reflective Up-tempo New Single 'These Are the Days'

Mark Ambor’s debut album Rockwood was a surprise favourite of ours back in 2024, and now the singer-songwriter continues the journey towards his second studio album with new single These Are the Days.

Mark shares: “I wrote “These Are the Days” to remind myself to stay present. Recently, I’ve been pretty disheartened by a lot of things going on in the world that are out of my control. “These Are the Days” helps remind me that when I focus on my immediate orbit and the people who actually make a difference in my life, it’s hard not to see how much good there is in this world. I hope when you listen, it reminds you to look for that good, to stay present and to not lose hope or optimism. Knowing that these are literally the days that you will look back on and miss, why not enjoy them while you can?”

Mark co-wrote the track with Jesse Fink, alongside production from frequent collaborator Noel Zancanella, as well as longtime band members Parker Sundby and Alex Mak. The new single follows New York Confident, the first taste of Mark’s new musical era, released via Capitol Records.

On the new single, Mark shared with fans: “These Are The Days was one of the first songs I wrote when I settled back into writing late last year. I wrote it with my friend Jesse Fink while trying to make sense of the journey that Rockwood and Belong Together had taken me on. I’ve spent the months since working with my band on new songs, moving to NYC and a bunch of random things in between but the sentiment of this song still rings true, and I think it always will. These Are The Days is yours June 26th!!”
