Magnus Ferrell delivers his distinctive brand of slinky disco-infused funk pop on new EP Groove Therapy. Among the seven tracks are fan favourite Asleep Talking and new collaboration She’s Gonna Break My Heart featuring Jenevieve.
Magnus shares: Groove Therapy is my favourite collection of songs I’ve ever made. I had so much fun making it, and I hope people have just as much fun listening to it.
This sense of fun is apparent in the high-energy grooves of the project, with Magnus’s silky vocals shining atop these energetic productions. The EP delves into stories of the rush, uncertainty and vulnerability of falling in love. Magnus’s skills as a jazz pianist help bring the project to life as it intertwines funk, soul, R&B and pop to craft a unique flavour that feels distinctively Magnus.
