Louis Tomlinson Drops Uptempo Gem ‘Lemonade’, Announces Upcoming LP ‘How Did I Get Here?’

Louis Tomlinson topped the charts with his 2022 album Faith in the Future and is on track to do it again with his third album How Did I Get Here? which arrives on the 23rd of January 2026 via BMG. Louis has revealed the first taste of the album in new single Lemonade, an energetic track the showcases the musician’s charisma and ear for a great pop tune.

Louis shared: “The most important thing was for the first single to sound ambitious sonically. It had to be big and fun. To me, “Lemonade” really has instant and natural personality. It ended up being the perfect way to begin this chapter.”

Lemonade was the result of album sessions with co-producer Nico Rebscher, with the pair constructing the record in Costa Rica. Louis shares: “Taking all of the steps I did to get here was important. I needed the confidence to become the artist I wanted to be and make a hopefully big, but personal album. I think I did.”

On his 2026 scheduled album, Louis notes: “I sum up it as ‘The record I always deserved to make’. My bread and butter is the honesty. I genuinely wear my heart on my sleeve, and I hope it comes through in the music. I’m still learning and getting better as a singer and a songwriter. I find it impossible to be complacent; it’s not in my vocabulary. For the first time now, I’m allowing myself to be the artist I’d always hoped to be.”

Louis will be hitting the road across the globe from March until July next year. Tickets are available here. You can pre-order How Did I Get Here? from Louis’s site.
