Look Mum No Computer Releases Synth-Punk UK Eurovision Entry ‘Eins, Zwei, Drei’

Channeling a little bit of Blur with some synth-driven Pet Shop Boys and some British punk attitude is Look Mum No Computer’s UK Eurovision Song Contest entry Eins, Zwei, Drei. The BBC certainly cannot be accused of playing it safe with this chant-along anthem that feels like it lands in the camp of Baby Lasagna and Käärijä-style wild entries.

Look Mum No Computer says: “I am absolutely buzzing that the world can finally hear what we have created. Eins, Zwei, Drei was born during a session with the other writers and producers on my synthesizer ‘Kosmo’, and I couldn’t be prouder of it. I want people to be able to dance, shout, sing along, and just embrace the absurd jubilation that I hope it sparks when you listen to it. We’re working hard on pulling together all the elements to make it one of the wildest performances to ever grace the Eurovision stage, which is no small feat! See you in Vienna!”

Eins, Zwei, Drei is a song about escaping the boredom of the nine-to-five into a world of dreams and endless possibilities. We know that a place to certainly escape boredom is the Eurovision Song Contest, so we have no doubt that this will become one of the UK’s most talked-about entries by fans of the contest.

The music video captures some of the madness that we can expect on stage from Eins, Zwei, Drei, which has been confirmed to be staged by Fredrik ‘Benke’ Rydman. The hit creative director and choreographer has been responsible for Nemo with The Code, Käärijä with Cha Cha Cha, and Måns Zelmerlöw with Heroes.

The team behind the track includes Lasse Midtsian Nymann, Kill J and Thomas Stengaard.
