t.A.T.u. legend Lena Katina releases her new English-language single Love Yourself, an empowering electronic-pop track. The track serves as an English-language version of the Russian track Полюбить себя, which Lena released in June.
Lena collaborates on the single with Arutyun Tamamyan, Dmitry Korochin, Daniil Dokhov, Stanislav Ivonin, Daniil Zalyaliev, Aleksandr Kontaev and Anastasia Yuryevna Dunaeva. The single is Lena’s first track in English since 2021’s Stay the Same.
The empowering number sees Lena sing: “Stop with all the crying, look at you, you’re hot as hell / Why’d you let nobodies leave the real you on a shelf? / They are just projecting, and you know this very well / So come on, then, better, better, better love yourself” The song serves as a feel-good and undeniably fun slice of electronic pop, with Lena sounding great against the danceable electronic production.
Lena is back touring with her t.A.T.u. bandmate Julia Volkova and it is hoped the pair will be working on new English language music together, following on from their timeless anthems Not Gonna Get Us and All the Things She Said.
