Joshua Curran Delivers Introspective New Single ‘Shine’ Ahead of New Album

You may remember that back in May we featured an interview with rising singer-songwriter Joshua Curran, who had worked on the Armenian Eurovision entry Survivor. Now the Irish-Czech musician returns with more of his own original music in the form of Shine, a track which draws inspiration from the UK indie pop and rock scene, including Oasis, Arctic Monkeys and The Kooks.

Shine sees Joshua sing “Baby let me go, oh, I know it’s never over, crying on my shoulder, please just let me go. Oh, I know that you’ll feel better and I know you won’t forget her…” atop introspective production. The atmospheric track is an impressive reintroduction to Joshua as a musician and creative talent.

As well as working on Survivor, Joshua has impressed with his own tracks, including Ninety Five and Finish Line, both of which featured on his album Can We Still Dance, released in 2024. We are particularly excited to hear that Joshua’s follow-up album is expected this April and, if it is even half as good as Can We Still Dance, then we will be delighted.
